Dr. Mallory McCormick

My Why:

“I was drawn to optometry because of the unique combination of science, problem-solving, and personal connection. What solidified it for me was shadowing local doctors and seeing how meaningful those relationships with patients can be. The Fun Stuff:

A Northeast Ohio native and Highland High School grad, Dr. McCormick is always up for an adventure—she once zip-lined through the lush rainforests of Costa Rica and dreams of one day lounging along the Amalfi Coast. She's a beach girl at heart, a big fan of The Lakehouse in the Flats, and never turns down good conversation over great food. She also loves immersing herself in new cultures and languages (she even minored in Spanish at Ohio State!). Patients love her approachable personality and how easy she makes it to feel heard and cared for.

The Credentials:

Dr. McCormick earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University, where she was a STEM scholar and Spanish minor. She went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, graduating with clinical honors and receiving the Clinical Excellence Award in Primary Care Optometry. She provides full-scope eye care and has a special interest in comprehensive care and patient education.
